Terms and Conditions (eShop)
General terms and conditions
These General Terms and Conditions govern the rights and obligations of the customer (buyer) and the operator of the online store www.littlebookhouse.sk (seller) when concluding purchase contracts through the seller's electronic store.
The operator of the website www.littlebookhouse.sk is Ing. Ľubica Kemp, Brečtanová 13008/4B, 831 01 Bratislava, entry in the Trade Register of the District Office in Bratislava, trade register number: 102-22247, ID: 35329335, VAT number: 1036729683.
These General Terms and Conditions in the version valid on the day of the conclusion of the purchase contract are an integral part of the purchase contract and are binding for both parties.
Order product
The purchase of goods via the electronic store www.littlebookhouse.sk can be made by natural and legal persons, as long as they accept these General Terms and Conditions.
The purchase contract, on the basis of which the sale of goods is realized by the seller to the buyer, is created on the basis of sending an electronic form with a binding order for goods. By sending a binding order, the buyer confirms that he has read these General Terms and Conditions and agrees with them in their entirety. When ordering goods, the customer is obliged to fill in all the mandatory data that are necessary to complete the transaction and send the goods. The seller undertakes that the provided data will be used only for the purpose of concluding and fulfilling the contract and will not be published, made available or provided to a third party, with the exception of providing the necessary data to the delivery person for the purpose of problem-free delivery of the shipment (name, address, telephone). After sending, the order will be processed and confirmation of receipt of the order by the seller will be delivered to the e-mail address specified by the buyer in the order.
Prices and promotions
The prices of titles are based on the catalog prices of individual publishers. All prices are given in euro and include VAT. The seller is not a VAT payer.
The price of the goods does not include the costs associated with the delivery of the goods from the seller's warehouse to the delivery address specified by the buyer or other optional services. Postage is charged according to the method of delivery and payment chosen by the buyer when ordering the goods.
The seller reserves the right to adjust the price of the goods at any time. The change in the price of the goods does not apply to purchase contracts concluded before the price change, regardless of the fact that the goods have not yet been delivered.
All discounts listed for individual titles are valid until stocks last, unless otherwise stated for the product.
Order cancellation
The buyer can cancel or modify the order free of charge by phone or email, but no later than the time the goods are removed. The buyer will be notified by email about removal.
The seller reserves the right to cancel the order in full or in part if the seller is unable to deliver the goods due to their being sold out or at the price specified in the order. In such a case, the seller will contact the buyer immediately after discovering the situation in order to agree on the next procedure.
If the buyer has paid part or all of the purchase price, this amount will be returned to his account within 15 days, unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery conditions and postage
The length of delivery of the goods "from the warehouse" to the address specified by the customer in the binding order as the delivery address depends on the choice of delivery and payment method and is usually 2 - 4 working days. In the event that the delivery of the goods "from the warehouse" is not carried out within 30 days from the date of the order, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract after the expiry of this period. Each shipment is accompanied by a tax document - an invoice, which also serves as a delivery and warranty certificate. The invoice is sent to the customer as an attachment to the "Order Sent" email.
The postage is indicated in the following price list:
| Postal service | Payment | Orders of value up to 59 eur | Orders of value over 59 eur |
| Slovak Post Office | in advance | 3,10 eur | 0 eur |
| Slovak Post Office | on delivery | 4,30 eur | 1,20 eur |
| Courier (Home Delivery) (*) | in advance | 3,60 eur | 0,99 eur |
| Collection in the bookshop | in advance | 0 eur | 0 eur |
The listed prices apply to delivery within the territory of the Slovak Republic and sending the entire order in one shipment.
(*) In the period from November 1 to December 31, the courier charges a seasonal surcharge of 1 euro.
Postage prices for the Czech Republic are as follows:
| Postal service | Payment | Orders of value up to 59 eur | Orders of value over 59 eur |
| Packeta ČR Home Delivery | in advance | 4,59 eur | 1,99 eur |
The price for delivery to a country other than Slovakia or the Czech Republic is calculated by the seller based on the weight of the parcel. In this case, the order of goods becomes binding only after the customer approves the calculated postage.
The seller is not responsible for shipments that are lost in the mail or stolen from the buyer's mailbox.
The buyer acknowledges and agrees that if he does not receive the shipment from the delivery person after the binding confirmation of the order, the seller can assert his claim for compensation for the incurred damage in the amount of the actual costs of the attempted unsuccessful delivery of the shipment. This does not apply if the buyer has canceled the order in accordance with these terms and conditions.
